Although our favorite ex-vice-president, Al Gore, "inventor of the internet," is all full of hype over global warming, his appearances in news articles has taken a large dive. However, despite this lull in Gore-sightings, he has appeared very recently with U2's own Bono.
Bono showed Gore through his Earth-friendly house, making small remarks at his ethanol powered car and recycling bins. Additionally, Bono compared our Al Gore to an Irish Priest, an interesting comment.
With the lack of Gore in our news, and the colder weather that we're all feeling here in San Diego, I'm sure we'll see plenty more skepticism over Al Gore's claims about Global Warming in the future.

Al Gore's disturbing lack of press
In the News: National Review Editor at Large, Jonah Goldberg, says that when Gore speaks of global warming as a “planetary emergency” he is contradicting democracy because discussion of topics should never be over. Also, Al Gore may have some competition in former House Speaker, Newt Gingrich, who has co-authored a “go-green” book called A Contract with the Earth. Another of Al Gore's great achievements is his ability to stay out of the presidential race and keep from endorsing a candidate. Will he ever commit?

All Quiet on the Global Warming Front....
In the News: A last-ditch effort in Michigan is occuring to get people to "vote uncommitted," which would enable delegates to go to the conventions not committed to candidates, which would enable them to vote for Al Gore. Although, this late in the game, it is far more likely that his big role will come when and if he endorses a presidential candidate.....

Gore "Post-Iowa"
Although this ex-Vice President has not been a major player in the political arena, in concern to the upcoming Presidential election, Al Gore has been seen time and time again in politics. Apparently, there has been some talk over Gore's inability to bring attention to this issue during his run, while it seems that Global Warming has taken a step onto center stage during this election season.
Al Gore's well known talks about Global Warming have gone far from unnoticed, and as this issue has grown into a political hot topic, Gore's data has become the target of speculation, according to "The Conservative Voice." (Surprised?)
All in all, with this important issue (whether pressing or bogus, depending on what side of the issue you reign in on) is bound to expand during the next several months, and it's very likely that we'll hear from Al Gore again on this key issue.
