What's he up to?

I'm sure as we all sit here, white knuckling it for the extreme race for the Democratic nomination between Obama and Clinton, the first thought on all of our minds is "What's Al Gore up to?" Well, calm down, I'll tell you!
There's been some speculation over the past week over a Obama and Gore ticket. Perhaps speculation would be a stretch, as it seems to be more like wish than actuality or possibility. In a way, this move would be a counter to Clinton's "phone" tv-commercials (which possibly tipped the results of the Texas primary!) by bringing a man of (perhaps previously, as he may have fallen a bit out of good grace with some of the country) high esteem and experience into the whitehouse for those sorts of situations. Additionally, Gore has been spotted sinking a whopping $35million into hedge funds with an "Ebay billionaire."

Bets and Blows

In the News: Gore spoke at a Technology, Entertainment, and Design conference; he is concerned that climate change is being ignored by the presidential candidates and spoke of pushing climate change to the top of the candidates' agendas. Scott Armstrong, the University of Pennsylvania marketing professor who publicly challenged Al Gore to a $10,000 bet over global warming last June, will speak in New York and has expressed interest in debating with Gore. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released a report stating that climate change has no relation with the increasing number of hurricanes in the United States. How will Gore respond to this crushing blow? Also, Gore will join Cisco chairman and CEO, John Chambers, and Cisco chief marketing officer, Sue Bostrom, at VoiceCon in Orlando to discuss how technology will help mitigate the effects of global warming.
