Mr. Green's Nemesis
In the News: Well, not quite, but the former VP and Presidential hopeful's old spoiler-buddy sure is. After Ralph Nader, who robbed "the greenest presidential candidate" of a presidential win back in 2000 entered the race this weekend, Democratic pundits and hopefuls alike wasted no time in decrying this man as the anti-Democrat, the one who undermined Gore in Florida and ultimately caused the global-warming icon's loss to President George W. Bush. Interestingly, these same pundits and politicians did not attempt to attribute John Kerry's loss in 2004 to Nader, saying that the American people have now done the calculations and realized that a vote for Nader is a vote against Democrats, and therefore is (by the transitive property of Nader) a vote for Satan.

That will be interesting to see, especially since I'm starting to hear rumours about a possible Bloomberg-Gore campaign; the two would definitely make up an independent ballot, and Bloomberg definitely has feelers out to measure his chance on a poitical campaign. However, the question is - is he looking to campaign in 2008, or 2012?
